Over the past two weeks I have been working hard to create this amazing resource for New Zealand educators. This aligns to the New Zealand Stage 1-5 maths progressions or learning intentions for numeracy: number and strategy. It is a comprehensive pack that provides resources, activities and support for the learning intentions in each stage. These addition and subtraction worksheets are a great way to reinforce counting on and counting back - addition and subtraction. These worksheets have a 100s board to help with solving the sums for students to use to support their solving.

The purpose behind these is to help educators create more opportunities to practice key learning that is happening in class. Sometimes it can be hard to think of activities or games that support these learning intentions. So these can be used with teaching time, as independent activities in your tumble or as a follow up for after teacher time. 

I have mine set up in these cute containers from spotlight. I have purchased one for each stage and have them labelled and set out for my students to be able to come and use. The labels are all included in these stage packs if this is something you are interested in setting up as well.
