Phonics Pack 1 This phonics pack 1 is a great introduction to using structured literacy in your classroom. No matter what books or phonics programme you are using to support structured literacy in your classroom; this pack will help reinforce those learning concepts you are covering. This pack can be used in whole class teaching, small group teaching, buddy lessons and individual for students. This Pack 1 covers /m/ /s/ /f/ /a/ /t/ /c/ /p/ /i/ sounds. Included in this pack is: Teaching powerpoint show to cover:
*This is perfect for whole class teaching and can be used on TV display for all your students to practice. Teaching powerpoint in pdf form too Spin and cover games: Spin and cover either the picture with the first sound or a word including the spun sound What’s the sound game: Roll the dice and move across the board saying the first sound of the picture you land on Decode & Blend game: Roll the dice and move across the board sounding out the word you land on Circle the sound activity: Circle the first sound that matches the image on the card Initial sound follow up worksheets: Follow up worksheets that can be completed during or after the learning that is going on Flashcards or teaching cards: Use these for individual practice to give students This comes in a zip file so you will need the correct software to unzip the file. Of course everyone plans differently. But when you are new to the profession or new to a genre it can be hard to wrap your head around what to do. Enter an easy to follow LTP that has ideas to help build basic knowledge of an animal report.
