Planning tips for teachers

On Instagram this week there has been lots of questions about planning! How to best plan, how to plan in general, ways to streamline.
So late last night when I was up for Ephron teething I mapped out this 'how to plan' tip sheet for teachers to use to help with planning!

Every school and teacher plans differently so keep that in mind when reading this! It is always very confronting sharing how you do things and people tend to always look for negatives.
This is how I work; this is what works for me.

I always spend a long time in the holidays creating really decent long term plans so that my planning throughout the term doesn't become tiresome or tricky.

Thank you for sharing this, you are so right, it is a bit confronting sharing as people will always have their way. I always figure you take what works and appreciate the rest. I love the links go OTJs and learning progressions. A great reminder for all of us to link back.
