Let's practice our words

Today my students were introduced to this resource I made last year. An ebook called 'let's practice' targeting the key learning of HFWs. I have released two in the resources with the first targeting key words for magenta and red reading levels, and the second for blue reading levels. 

These books are published on the apple ibooks for downloading and have activities to create the words alongside it to support the learning. Today we all chose to write our words on a whiteboard whilst hearing the word, saying the word and then writing the word. The instructional video helps you learn how to write it also. 

Even my little new entrants were able to follow the words and write them as they were learning about. Talk about super cute when you can hear them shouting out the word "the" as they write it on the whiteboard.
