How to use zoom

Zoom is a great video conference tool that connects people and allow them to have meetings, conferences and check ins online. It is free to use and great for starting your remote learning or home learning opportunities. 

I use Zoom to connect with my students in daily meetings. We are completing work together, checking in and just trying to keep some sort of normality in our lives using it. 

There is a lot of talk about Zoom being unsafe at the moment, but if you are taking the right security measures then you will be fine. See the attached infographic below on ways you can secure your zoom sessions for you and your students. Simple things like using a password, locking your session and using a waiting room.
