This activity is a fun and exciting way to practice decoding and encoding CVC words but with an ice-cream scoop theme! This is lots of fun for students to practice reinforcing their CVC knowledge with a few different activities for this.


Students can:

  • Pick a cvc card
  • Sound out the image and map the sounds with the scoops
  • Write the word down on the line to affirm their sounds
