Do you use writing goals and checklists in your class? A few years ago I created these writing success criteria checklists as part of an assignment for university! Its awesome to say that this still play a huge part in my writing programme! These go alongside my writing goal cards that students use. Each of these checklists are linked to a learning intention or WALHT that your students might be focused on. They have some picture cues to help those who need help reading the sentences with feedback and feedforward options at the bottom. I use these with Seesaw, making the evaluation explicit and clear for the student, teacher and parents! Check out this example below! The box on the side is for students to place their books to help them keep track of the checklist and their work at once. These are free to download from my Teachers Pay Teachers Store for a limited time! Check them out or download them here >> Writing Checklists. Want to see a student using this in action? Watch this video recording of one of my students sharing and looking for evidence of his goal in his writing!
