With the digital technologies curriculum and increase of digital use in the classroom, there are lots of teachers still looking for support on ways to implement this in the classroom. This is a website post of ideas, links and resources I have used, created or come across. Check them out below and use what you would like in your classroom.

Lifting digital technologies in the classroom
This resource is a long term plan that I created for teachers. It covers both sections of the new curriculum - designing digital learning outcomes and computational thinking.
You can access this long term plan at this blog post here. It is free to access and is over 10 pages long!

Coding Giant Blocks
This resource is a great way of learning about coding in an unplugged setting. This gets students to explore computational thinking but with an English and Te Reo Maori spin on things. Line up the instructions, students follow them and have fun in the process.

Purchase this online here.

Coding templates
These coding templates help students learn computational thinking, helping the object get somewhere else. These can be completed in two ways with words or symbols - both in worksheet form.

Access this resource here.

Coding on Seesaw
There are lots of coding unplugged templates available on Seesaw. These are free to access and can be used to help teach computational thinking. Each one has instructions and a model linked to it.

Check out the Seesaw coding activities here.
